Mazaj is a boutique hospitality brand specialized to the Dahabiyas and Cruises in the Nile experience. Our brand's journey began in 1988 with Nile cruises, where we mastered the art of delivering high-end service on the glorious river. Those decades of expertise became the foundation and inspiration for creating Mazaj, our signature brand of luxury Nile experiences. Mazaj SEBA, originally a private family yacht, was acquired in 2023, when Mr. Ahmed El Wassief established Mazaj Dahabiya, a brand that has become synonymous to luxury and excellence in Nile sailing. Being fully refurbished and upscaled with the latest technology, Mazaj SEBA retained its intimate, homey ambiance, a defining element of its charm. Its distinctive aesthetic and fusion of luxury and authenticity quickly garnered widespread acclaim.
To meet the growing demand, Mazaj SIA was developed from the ground up; an opportunity that allowed us full creative freedom. Within two years, Mazaj SIA launched and instantly went viral, celebrated for its refined, modern design enriched with subtle Egyptian touches.
Today, Mazaj Dahabiyas offer exclusive high-end vessels that seamlessly blend the warmth of Egyptian hospitality with cutting-edge technology, ensuring a private and slow-travel Nile experience. Our Dahabiyas embark from our shipyard in the heart of Cairo, journeying gracefully up the Nile to Luxor and Aswan.
Looking ahead, we're thrilled to announce that a third vessel, Mazaj MEROOT, is currently under construction and expected to set sail by January 2026.
At the same time, our luxurious cruise ships, TAMR and TULIP, gracefully navigate the Nile, offering an elevated and vibrant cruising experience for demanding travelers. Tamr and Tulip were the original names of the vessels we first sailed more than 30 years ago. Today, they have been rebuilt from scratch, yet their spirit lives on, carrying the legacy of the names bestowed nearly forty years ago by our Wings founder, Atef El Wassief. With elegant accommodations, professional service, and immersive itineraries, these vessels are crafted to deliver a seamless mix of comfort, connection, culture, and sophistication as you explore the timeless beauty of the river.
